TO: Parents, Guardians, and Members of the GNA Senior Class
FROM: Rachel Jeffries & Michael Zubritski, Senior Class Advisors
One of the highlights of the senior year is the yearly senior class trip to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios in Florida. This fun-filled and action-packed 5-day and 4-night trip has been regularly run by the senior class for numerous years. In order to lock in our school’s reservations with our travel company, an initial $320 deposit must be made no later than Friday, September 23, 2022. If the required number of students is not reached to hold the trip, this deposit will be refunded in full. The deposit will be used towards each student’s balance due for the trip. A further breakdown of the tour package cost and the payment schedule is listed below:

These payments must be received no later than the due dates listed so that the Senior Class can fulfill its payment schedule to its travel company, World Class Vacations, in a timely manner and as required by contractual obligations. Payment can be made using cash, check, or money order. Please note that any returned check will be subject to an additional service fee.
Once the required number of students have paid the deposit, additional information regarding the optional but highly recommended trip insurance will be provided.
Other than the initial deposit, the members of the senior class will have the opportunity to participate in several fundraising activities in which the profits from these fundraisers can be used towards the payment of their trip.
Last year's 2022 Itinerary has been provided for you to review what the trip will look like.
Photo Identification Requirements
As mentioned in May of 2022 via email and in June via Remind, the Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) at airport checkpoints requires valid photo identification for travelers. Identification is also required as part of the reservation process with Disney Resorts. Students attending the senior trip must have one of the following forms of identification:
• Valid PA Driver’s License with REAL ID
• Valid PA Photo Identification Card with REAL ID
• Valid US Passport Book
These forms of identification must NOT be expired at the time of the trip.
It is the responsibility of the student to make sure to have one of these valid forms of identification on their person during the trip. PA Photo Identification cards can be obtained through any PA Department of Motor Vehicle Driver’s License Centers for anyone without a driver’s license or passport. Students will need to fill out a Form DL-54A and bring the required documents and payment to any PA Driver’s License and Photo Center to have the photo identification card issued. At the current time, the cost of a PA Photo Identification Card is $32.50. Please note that if you are under the age of 18, you must also have a parent or guardian with you at the time the photo identification card is requested.
All PA Driver’s Licenses and Photo Identification cards must be REAL ID compliant in order to use them as identification for airline travel. There is a one-time $30.00 fee to have your license or ID card upgraded to a REAL ID and requires additional information and documentation beyond a traditional license or identification card. More information, including what required documents are needed, can be obtained on the PA Real ID website at https://www.dmv.pa.gov/REALID/Pages/default.aspx.
Any questions regarding photo identification requirements can be addressed to Mrs. Jeffries in 219 or Mr. Zubritski in 220.
