This email will be sent to parents of seniors focusing on methods of communication, fundrasing sales and policies, the senior trip, and the upcoming vote for Miss GNA and her court.
Greeting Parents/Guardians of the Class of 2026!
Mr. Zubritski and I are excited to begin a new school year as Senior Class Advisors to the Class of 2026. Last week, we sent an email to all seniors describing potential methods of communication, fundraising events, the senior class trip, and the future vote for Miss GNA and her court.
We would like to share this information with you as well. In the future, information
will be announced in school, over the loudspeakers, in the mornings and afternoons; placed in the "Announcements" section of the Class of 2026 Webpage; written on both the Announcements Board outside of 219 and on the Senior Class Bulletin Board in the 2nd floor hallway; and placed on Remind.
As parents/guardians, you are also encouraged to join the Class of 2026 Remind, if you have not yet done so. After you click on the following link, would you please identify yourself with your first and last name and the name of your child when prompted? https://www.remind.com/join/gnaseniors
Check out the
Class of 2026 Fundraising page.
It details the tentative dates for the many
fundraisers and sales designed to help defray senior class expenses. The first fundraiser is David's Cookie Dough. It will begin on the first day of school. Order forms will be given in homeroom and are due back September 18, 2025. Fifty percent of the proceeds of this sale will be placed in your child's individual senior account to use for school board-approved senior class costs such as the annual Senior Trip to Florida (excluding initial deposit), yearbooks, semi tickets, prom tickets, class rings, senior shirts, graduation caps/gowns, and graduation formation/individual graduation photos. Any cyber parent/student may pick up, at the high school security booth, David's Cookie Dough brochures, and all other fundraising materials not available online. Dual enrollment students may pick up materials in the high school office upon sign in. Materials will be located next to the dual enrollment sign-in binder.
Please also read over the
Fundraising Policy page. It details how students should keep track of and use
all fundraising money and how, if seniors do not use the funds in their accounts for the school board-approved senior class expenses, said funds will be utilized for the good of the entire senior class.
Information regarding the annual senior trip, including the dates, cost, payment schedule, tentative itinerary, and insurance information, may be found on the Senior Trip page of the Senior Class Webpage. Please look this over. The initial deposit of $350.00 is due no later than September 23, 2025.
Check out the Senior Class Apparel page for the coolest GNA gear and great back-to-school sales going on now.
Lastly, as part of our long-standing Homecoming tradition, the vote for Miss GNA and her Homecoming Court will occur on the first day of school, in homerooms, on paper. Cyber students will be emailed a link to vote electronically. Dual enrollment or late students should visit 219 and vote after their arrival.
Seniors should take this time to contemplate those students who exemplify Trojan Spirit. Trojan Spirit combines excellence both in and out of the classroom and is exemplified through service to our school and to our community. Seniors should contemplate who will best represent Greater Nanticoke Area School District as Miss GNA and her Homecoming Court.
Lastly, please know we are honored to be the Senior Class Advisors and are looking forward to a great year with the Class of 2026!
